Designed for storing round steel billets and solid metal bars, transferring them in the production area and preparing them for shipment, WCM Steel Billet Transport Pallet offers a regular loading area with its supported metal body. It can be specially produced according to the material length, diameter and total weight.
WCM Steel Billet Transport Pallet was developed for collecting cylindrical raw materials on a single platform in iron, steel and metal processing facilities. Metal profile frame, base carriers and side limiters helps to place steel billets sequentially.
The support and limiting elements in the upper section support the positioning of round materials. Logs can be kept together on the pallet with a binding system suitable for the size and weight of the load. Fastening points and support spacings are arranged according to the characteristics of the material to be transported.
Forklift fork pockets integrated into the body can be designed for transfers from the raw material stock area to the production department. Corner posts create a layout for stacking empty pallets. With its reusable design, it supports internal material flow and keeping pallet stock organized.
Special Production Options
Pallet length, width, support height and carrier profile sections can be determined according to the project. Special bearings, side supports and tie-down points can be added for steel billets of different diameters. Carrying capacity is planned according to the total load, center of gravity and transportation conditions. Different colors and surface coatings can be applied upon request.
