Designed for storing vehicle engines, transferring them to the assembly line and preparing them for shipment, WCM Engine Transport Pallet offers a regular transportation platform with its checkered sheet metal table and engine-specific support points. It can be specially produced according to engine dimensions, weight and connection arrangement.
WCM Engine Transport Pallet was developed for positioning heavy engine groups in automotive production facilities and engine depots. Metal profile body, checkered sheet upper surface and raised supports creates a settlement area that can be arranged according to the base structure of the engine.
Engine-specific support points help move the load through designated contact areas. The lashing ears on the pallet allow the engine to be fixed with tension belts of appropriate capacity. Support and fastening arrangements that will not come into contact with sensitive parts are designed according to the engine model.
Fork entry openings on the front and side surfaces can be arranged for in-house transfer by forklift. The reusable metal pallet design supports keeping engines on the same platform during production, storage and shipping. Placing empty pallets on top of each other helps to store pallet stock regularly.
Special Production Options
Pallet width, length, height and support positions can be adapted to different engine models. Top plate thickness, carrier profile sections, fasteners and protective contact surfaces are determined specifically for the project. Carrying capacity is planned based on engine weight, center of gravity and usage conditions. Different colors and surface coatings can be applied upon request.
